Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

These Terms of Service govern engagements between Shahroz ("we", "us") of 19 W Nile St, Glasgow G1 2PS and any client ("you") that purchases web design, development or SEO services from us. By paying a deposit invoice you agree to these terms.

1. Services

We provide website development and SEO consultancy as described on our pricing page and in the written proposal we send to you. The proposal defines the scope, deliverables and timeline for your project. Anything outside that scope is billed separately by prior written agreement.

2. Payment terms

Fixed-price website projects are invoiced 50% on signature and 50% on launch. SEO retainers are invoiced monthly in advance on a three-month minimum term, then rolling monthly with 30 days' notice. UK VAT is applied where required. Late invoices accrue interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

3. Money-back guarantee

If you are unhappy with our work within 14 days of your deposit, we will refund your deposit in full, subject to you providing written notice of the reason. This guarantee does not apply once the project has been substantially delivered.

4. Client responsibilities

You agree to provide brand assets, content and timely feedback (within 5 working days) so we can meet the agreed timeline. Timelines pause when we are waiting on client input.

5. Intellectual property

On full payment, all custom design and code we produce for you is assigned to you. We retain rights to underlying tools, libraries and generic components, plus the right to display finished work in our portfolio and case studies unless you request otherwise in writing.

6. Warranties and liability

We warrant that our work will be performed with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any engagement is limited to the fees paid by you for that engagement in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or loss-of-profit damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
