About the client
Aston Bradley is a modern surveying and property practice led by M. Ali MRICS, a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer. The firm carries out Level 2 and Level 3 RICS surveys and residential valuations for homebuyers, owners and professional clients.
The practice is regulated by RICS, a member of The Property Ombudsman, and works to a Trading Standards approved code. Its head office is on Icknield Port Road in Edgbaston, and a North East office in Consett serves Durham and Newcastle. Clients and affiliates include housing providers, care organisations and property companies across the Midlands.
The firm already had what most surveyors want: strong word-of-mouth and a long run of five-star Google reviews. What it needed was a website that matched that reputation.
The challenge
Homebuyers choosing a surveyor compare three or four firms in minutes, often on a phone. If a site looks dated or hides its credentials, the enquiry goes to the next firm in the search results. Aston Bradley needed a website that could:
- Prove credibility instantly, with RICS regulation, Registered Valuer status and real reviews visible above the fold
- Explain the difference between Level 2 surveys, Level 3 surveys and valuations in plain English
- Turn visitors into quote requests and phone calls, especially on mobile
- Show coverage of both Birmingham and the North East without confusing either audience
- Rank locally for searches like “chartered surveyors Birmingham” and “RICS survey Edgbaston”
Our approach: show first, quote second
We don't ask surveyors to imagine a website from a mood board. We build a working concept of their new site first, host it live, and send them the link. Ali saw his own practice, services and reviews on a real site before committing a penny.
- 01
Research
We studied the practice, its services, accreditations, office locations and Google reviews.
- 02
Live concept
We designed and built a full working concept on a private preview link.
- 03
Feedback rounds
Ali reviewed the concept and we worked through his amendments to content, pages and details.
- 04
Sign-off and launch
Once approved, we moved the site onto astonbradley.co.uk with SEO, redirects and tracking in place.
This concept-first process removes the risk for the client. It also means feedback is about real pages, not abstract wireframes, so projects move faster.
Chartered surveyor website design: what we delivered
The new site pairs a premium, editorial look with a clear path from first visit to quote request.
Cinematic hero
A full-width video hero with a single promise: expert survey and valuation advice. Two clear buttons send visitors to Surveys or Valuations, with a call link beside them.
Instant trust strip
“RICS Regulated, Registered Valuers, Local Expertise” sits directly under the hero. RICS, Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards badges repeat in the footer.
Service pages that sell
Dedicated Surveys and Valuations pages explain Level 2, Level 3 and valuation options so buyers pick the right service.
Four-step process
Tell us about the property, confirm the service, inspection, receive clear advice. A simple route that removes uncertainty for first-time buyers.
Reviews front and centre
Eleven five-star Google reviews on the homepage, a full Reviews page, and a link to the Google profile.
Clients & Affiliates
A logo wall of housing, care and property organisations shows professional clients trust the firm too.
Conversion everywhere
“Request a Quote” and the 0121 phone number sit in the header, the mobile menu, mid-page and the footer.

Two-office clarity
Edgbaston head office and the Consett office for Durham and Newcastle, each with full address details.
Compliance pages
Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions and a Complaints Procedure, as RICS-regulated firms need.
Social links
TikTok, Instagram and Facebook connected to keep the brand active.
“Ali was brilliant, professional, efficient, and got the job done with no fuss.”
